Seiring dengan perjalanan waktu, kejayaan Jalan Braga lambat laun mulai me-redup. David menyebutkan perubahan drastis kawasan ini sangat terasa antara tahun 1970-1980-an. Paradigma pembangunan yang digembor-gemborkan oleh penguasa kala itu membuat kawasan Jalan Braga semakin semrawut dan rusak.
Menurut David B.Sediono, sebelum tahun 1970-an ada pakem yang sangat dipatuhi. Di antaranya pemilik bangunan tidak boleh membangun gedungnya lebih dari 2 lantai. "Selepas tahun 1970-an, dengan alasan pembangunan, gedung-gedung dibongkar dan di-bangun semaunya sendiri. Akibatnya Jalan Braga justru semakin semrawut," jelasnya.
Alhasil dari sekitar 150-an bangunan yang ada, tinggal 50 persen saja yang masih berwajah asli. Sementara 25 persen lainnya telah direnovasi menurut selera modern. Yang ironis, 25 persen lainnya justru dibiarkan terbengkalai. Tercatat sekitar 25 gedung yang kini seakan tak bertuan lagi
David B.Sediono mengungkapkan, ada sebuah BUMN yang memanfaatkan sebuah bangunan sebagai gudang. "Bangunan eks Butik Au Bon Marche itu padahal punya nilai sejarah penting. Di gedung itu dulu pemerintah Indonesia menyimpan arsip-arsip geologi penting agar tidak jatuh ke Belanda," katanya.
Kondisi gedungnya punya seakan tak tersentuh perawatan. Beberapa bagian bahkan mulai lapuk di makan usia. Menurut David B. Sediono, dirinya sebenarnya telah berusaha meminta agar BUMN si empunya gedung memperhatikan dan merawat ge-dung tersebut. Tapi sampai detik ini perhatian yang diharapkan tak digubris.
Denyut nadi perekonomian sekarang memang masih terasa di Jalan Braga. Ada toko kue, bank, restoran, toko pakaian hingga perkantoran. Namun denyut nadi Jalan Braga jauh berbeda dibandingkan di era jayanya dulu.
Yang menarik justru fenomena di ujung utara Jalan Braga. Selepas perempatan Jalan Braga-Suniaraja, detak kawasan ini semakin kencang mulai malam hingga dini. Kehadiran rumah karaoke, kelab malam serta tempat billiard memang membuat kawa-san ini lebih hidup dibandingkan bagian lain di Jalan Braga.
Namun kehadiran tempat hiburan ini justru membuat pamor Jalan Braga menjadi jelek. Imej Jalan Braga kini tak lebih dari sebuah lokalisasi prostitusi terselubung. "Sejak zaman Belanda yang namanya Jalan Braga selalu bersih dari prostitusi. Tapi sejak tahun 1980-an saat banyak tempat hiburan malam diijinkan dibuka, Jalan Braga seakan tak lagi bersih dari keliaran wanita penggoda," ungkap David B. Sediono.
Sebenarnya kawasan Jalan Braga ini masih memiliki nama besar untuk dikembangkan sebagai obyek pariwisata. Dengan syarat penataan ulang harus dilakukan di kawasan ini.
Salah satu pihak yang peduli terhadap kawasan Jalan Braga adalah Bandung Heritage. David B.Sediono yang juga adalah Ketua Proyek Braga Bandung Heritage, mengatakan, pihaknya telah menawarkan konsep revitalisasi Jalan Braga seperti semula.
Jalan Braga akan dikembalikan fungsinya seperti dulu lagi. Dengan melakukan pe-nataan usaha dan bangunan yang ada. Diakui David B. Sediono untuk mewujudkan konsep ini tidaklah mudah.
Pemkot Bandung sendiri bersama investor telah mempunyai rencana sendiri. Di salah satu eks bangunan yang ada, mereka berencana membuat Braga City Walk. Penataan versi mereka adalah dengan membangun hotel berbintang, apartemen serta twin tower untuk menghidupkan kembali kawasan Jalan Braga.
Pembangunan Braga City Walk ini ada kaitannya dengan rencana penyelenggaraan ulang tahun Konperensi Asia Afrika Tahun 2005 yang kemungkinan besar diselenggarakan di Kota Bandung. Namun penataan de-ngan Braga City Walk ini dinilai tidak efektif.
Menurut David B. Sediono, keberadaan Braga City Walk justru akan membuat Jalan Braga makin semrawut. Infrastruktur yang ada sama sekali tidak mendukung. Termasuk kondisi jalan yang sangat sempit yang berp-o-tensi menimbulkan kemacetan. Kemudian ketiadaan lampu penerangan jalan di malam hari yang sangat minim saat ini serta keterbatasan sarana air bersih.

A atriz Rita Guedes, que fez o papel de Matilde na novela Eterna Magia, esteve no Mais Você e contou que o livro e o filme mudaram a vida dela. Rita teve uma síndrome do pânico este ano e curou-se graças ao que aprendeu. Depois disso, ela passou a ter sua vida guiada pelos princípios do livro.

A força é tanta que ela atribui à tese o fato do homem-chave do livro e do filme Bob Proctor tê-la nomeado. Com isso ela faz parte da equipe mundial de The Secret.

BlackTree TV Producer Jamaal Finkley sits down with Alice Braga and discusses her new movie, I AM LEGEND. The discussion talks about filming in America as opposed to Brazil, and who would she like to work with in the future.

Alice Braga (born April 15, 1983 in São Paulo, Brazil) is a Brazilian actress. She has appeared in several films, most notably as Angélica in 2002's highly acclaimed City of God. Sônia Braga is her maternal aunt.

ALICE BRAGA (Anna) has been receiving critical acclaim and international recognition since her stirring performance in director Fernando Meirelles' Oscar and Golden Globe-nominated drama "City of God." The Brazillian-born Braga has become a fixture of her native country's cinema, with credits including "Solo Dios Sabe" ("God Only Knows"), which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival; the offbeat comedy "Cheiro do Ralo, O" ("Drained"); and the love triangle drama "Cidade Baixa" ("Lower City").

Braga more recently captured Hollywood's attention with her performance in writer/director Eric Eason's "Journey to the End of the Night," opposite Brendan Fraser and Catalina Sandino Moreno.

She also has a host of promising projects on the horizon. In Wayne Kramer's upcoming "Crossing Over," Braga joins Harrison Ford and Sean Penn in a story of immigrants' efforts to achieve U.S. citizenship. In 2008, she will be seen in David Mamet's "Redbelt," opposite Chiwetel Ejiofor, Tim Allen and Emily Mortimer, and in "Blindness," based on Jose Saramago's Nobel Prize-winning novel about a town mysteriously struck by blindness. The film, which reunites Braga with director Fernando Meirelles, also stars Julianne Moore, Mark Ruffalo, Danny Glover and Gael Garcia Bernal.

Braga is currently filming "Repossession Mambo," starring opposite Jude Law and Forest Whitaker. The science fiction thriller, based on Eric Garcia's novel, is slated for release in 2009.

I Am Legend is an upcoming 2007 American post-apocalyptic science fiction horror film directed by Francis Lawrence and starring Will Smith. It is the fourth film adaptation of Richard Matheson's 1954 novel I Am Legend, following The Last Man on Earth (1964), The Omega Man (1971) and the straight to video I Am Omega (2007). Smith plays Robert Neville, possibly Earth's only survivor of a man-made virus. He works to create a cure but is stalked by nocturnal mutant survivors of the plague.

Warner Bros. Pictures began developing I Am Legend in 1994, and various actors and directors were attached to the project, though it did not enter production due to budgetary concerns. I Am Legend entered production in 2006 in New York City, filming mainly on location in the city including a $5 million scene at the Brooklyn Bridge, the most expensive scene filmed in the city to date. For the film, Warner Bros. launched a tie-in comic and an online multiplayer game on Second Life as part of its marketing campaign. I Am Legend is scheduled to be released December 14, 2007.

A man-made virus wipes out the population of New York City in 2009, leaving virologist Robert Neville (Will Smith) the last human survivor in the city and possibly the world. Neville lives alone for three years, attempting to contact and find other possible survivors.[2] He is watched by nocturnal mutant victims of the plague. Neville was the indirect cause of the fall of man: his government-funded research helped spread the virus, and he now works to redeem himself for this folly. Naturally immune, Neville realizes that two percent of the human race must also be immune. Nevertheless, many of them were killed by the infected, who became cannibalistic.[3] Neville finds himself outnumbered by the infected and running out of time.

Cena da novela Irmãos Coragem (Janete Clair, 1970-71). Estreia da atriz Sonia Braga na rede Globo, contracenando com Claudio Cavalcanti, que interpretava Jeronimo Coragem. Ela esta interessada em Jeronimo, mas esse estava apaixonado pela irma postica Potira (Lucia Alves), que por sua vez estava casada com Rodrigo (Jose Augusto Branco), ambos tambem na cena. Sonia Braga interpretava Ligia, uma jovem moderna da cidade grande - e' interessante ouvir as girias usadas na epoca, ou talvez, a interpretacao da autora do que seria a conversa dos jovens em 1970!

Apesar de ter sempre lido que essa era a estreia de Sonia Braga na televisao, recentemente descobri que ela ja havia trabalhado na Excelsior na novela A Menina do Veleiro Azul (1969), e possivelmente na novela As Aventuras de Eduardinho (1966) - mas essa ultima nao tenho certeza.
