"The Thermaltake V9 Black Edition Case is the top of the line in the V9 series. It comes with two massive 230mm fans and two 120mm fans which provide excellent air circulation. It has great looks and is all black. There are plenty of drive bays considering this is a mid-tower case. They include removable dust filters on all intake fans. It even comes with a tooless design for installing drives in the drive bays and cards in the expansion slots. Bang for the buck, this case rocks! Although it's steel and plastic, not aluminum and the motherboard tray isn't removable. Watch the video to find out more..." ~http://www.3dGameMan.com

Tis the season when Hollywood starts to argue about the Oscars. But one thing just about everybody is agreed upon: The Curious Case of Benjamin Button is the most highly anticipated film of the year. It stars Brad Pitt as Benjamin Button, a man who ages backwards, and Cate Blanchett as Daisy, the woman he loves and who loves him. The lavish epic, with a running time of just under three hours, is film-making on a grand scale, financed by two studios and costing north of $150m.
Its the third collaboration between the controversial director David Fincher and Pitt, who also starred in Se7en and Fight Club. The film, which covers a span of more than 80 years and ends in the catastrophe of Hurricane Katrina, is very loosely based on a 1922 short story by F Scott Fitzgerald, which itself was inspired by a quote from Mark Twain: Life would be infinitely happier if only we could be born at the age of 80 and gradually approach 18.
Much of the anticipation comes from a carnival-attraction curiosity about seeing Hollywoods most beautiful actor aged to look both much older than his 44 years, and, more disconcertingly, much younger than the young man who first excited us 17 years ago in Thelma and Louise. The startling special effects are a marriage of old-fashioned make-up, modern prosthetics and ground-breaking computer-generated techniques that have never been used like this before.
During the film, which opens at the end of the first world war, Pitt ages by looking increasingly younger, starting his curious life as a baby with the physical characteristics — baldness, coarse skin, liver spots, cataracts, deafness and arthritis — of a very old man. He has all the deterioration, the infirmities, not of a newborn, but of a man well in his eighties on the way to his grave, says the doctor who delivers him.

This Center for Freedom and Prosperity Foundation video demonstrates that low-tax jurisdictions offer millions of people around the world a safe haven from tyrannical and oppressive government. For this, and many other reasons, there is a powerful moral case for preserving and promoting tax havens. This mini-documentary is the second installment of a three-part series on the beneficial impact of low-tax jurisdictions. In addition to showing how tax havens promote human rights and individual liberty, the video exposes the hypocritical anti-tax competition efforts of statist international bureaucracies such as the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development. The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (film)
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button is a 2008 film loosely adapted from the 1922 short story of the same name written by F. Scott Fitzgerald. The film is directed by David Fincher, and stars Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett. The film will be released December 25, 2008.
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button Premise
In the early 20th century, 80 year old Benjamin Button (Brad Pitt), is born aging backwards (he was an old man as a baby and vice versa), causing complications when he falls in love with a 30 year old woman (Cate Blanchett). Director David Fincher said "It's dark, it's romantic, and it also deals with mortality in a pretty unflattering way. Button is born in 1919 - with the film itself beginning in World War I, traveling around the world and carrying on all the way through to the year 2000."

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button Production
As early as summer 1994, Maryland Film Office chief Jack Gerbes was approached with the possibility of a film adaptation of the 1922 short story "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" by F. Scott Fitzgerald, which takes place in Baltimore. In October 1998, screenwriter Robin Swicord wrote for director Ron Howard an adapted screenplay of the short story, a project which would potentially star actor John Travolta. In May 2000, Paramount Pictures hired screenwriter Jim Taylor to adapt a screenplay from the short story. The studio also attached director Spike Jonze to helm the project. Screenwriter Charlie Kaufman had also written a draft of the adapted screenplay at one point. In June 2003, director Gary Ross entered final negotiations to helm the project based on a new draft penned by screenwriter Eric Roth. In May 2004, Warner Bros. Pictures and Paramount Pictures joined to co-finance the project, with Paramount Pictures marketing the film in foreign territories and Warner Bros. handling domestic distribution (those were eventually switched). In the same month, director David Fincher entered negotiations to replace Ross in directing the film. In May 2005, actors Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett entered negotiations to star in the film as Benjamin Button and Daisy, respectively. In July 2005, Fincher negotiated a deal with the studios to direct Benjamin Button and Zodiac back-to-back, with Zodiac being produced first. For Benjamin Button, New Orleans, Louisiana and the surrounding area was chosen as the filming location for the story to take advantage of the state's production incentives, and shooting was slated to begin in October 2006.
In September 2006, actors Tilda Swinton, Jason Flemyng, and Taraji P. Henson entered negotiations to be cast into the film. The following October, with production yet to begin, actress Julia Ormond was cast as Daisy's daughter, to whom Blanchett's character tells the story of her love affair with Benjamin Button. Filming of Benjamin Button began on November 6, 2006 in New Orleans. The following December, actor Ed Metzger was cast to portray President Theodore Roosevelt. In January 2007, Blanchett joined the shoot. Fincher praised the ease of accessibility to rural and urban sets in New Orleans and said that the recovery from Hurricane Katrina did not serve as an atypical hindrance to production. In March 2007, filming moved to Los Angeles for two more months of filming. Principal photography was targeted to last a total of 150 days, excluding the time it would take to create the visual effects for the metamorphosis of Brad Pitt's character to the infant stage. The director used a camera system called Contour, developed by Steve Perlman, to capture facial deformation data from live actors's performances. This data then was filtered into a new physically accurate character rigging system created just for the film, called "AnEmotion", which assisted with the recreation of believable synthetic actors to illustrate the reverse aging of Brad Pitt's character, Benjamin Button. Overall production was finished in September 2007.

ABSTRACT
This presentation is drawn from Hunter's recent lead chapter in the U.S. Presidential Climate Action Project's report to the President-elect. It describes the business case for moving aggressively to solve such challenges as global warming, peak oil, the vulnerability of our energy infrastructure and others. Hunter discusses how climate protection, energy efficiency, renewable energy and other sustainable approaches will give us a stronger economy, and a higher quality of life. Hunter discusses how to unleash the new energy economy as the antidote to life in a carbon constrained world. The global climate crisis threatens many aspects of life on earth, including access to water. Energy is a relatively easy challenge to solve. But providing access to water, both at home and in water-short regions around the globe will not be trivial. Fortunately, in water, as in energy, there are solutions that cost less, work better and can deliver a higher quality of life. Hunter will describe how communities and companies are implementing these and many other strategies to cut their costs and drive their innovation.

5. Case histories can be used to diagnose the kind of personality that makes the corporation
an externality-creating machine. Externalities such as harm to employees through the use
of sweatshops: the exploitation of Third World countries' employees resulting in a huge
discrepancy of price versus cost. Other externalities such as pollution and adverse health
effects emerge. These include the genesis of the petrochemical industry and links to
cancer, birth defects and other toxic effects. Another externality is harm to the biosphere
or the environmental costs resulting from the way corporations operate, costs that will be
passed off to future generations. Have we created a doom machine?

The nation state of Poland, on the Eastern borders of Germany, had emerged periodically through the mists of European history, but never once in the same place as before.
The resurrection of Poland, under the terms of the treaty of Versailles, in 1919, had awarded that country a corridor of land, connecting Poland to the Baltic, and giving control to Poland of the ancient German seaport of Danzig. The Polish corridor effectively cut Germany in two.
Throughout the interwar years, conflicts between Poles and Germans in the corridor led to increasing polarisation, and by 1933 an indigenous Nazi Party in Danzig had gained control of the city, and begun agitation for reincorporation with Germany.
By the Spring of 1939 Hitler felt strong enough to demand the return of Danzig, and access through the corridor for road and rail communications with Danzig and East Prussia, but any justice behind these demands had been undermined by his occupation of Prague and the dismemberment of Czechoslovakia.
Incensed at what they regarded as a betrayal of the agreements of Munich, the British and French extended guarantees to Poland, and urged Hitler to solve the matter by negotiation.
On August 23rd, the Nazi - Soviet Non - Aggression Pact was signed in Moscow effectively concluding Hitler s negotiations, and signalling the death knell for Poland. In its secret clauses the Pact provide, not only for the division of Poland between these two powers for the fourth time in its history, but outlined general agreements for a division of Europe from the Baltic to the Black Sea.
As the German armies mobilised along the frontier, Britain dramatically converted her guarantees to Poland into a formal alliance, thus ensuring the inevitability of a European War.
The invasion of Poland began at dawn on September 1st 1939. While the German armies crossed the Polish border, the Luftwaffe began a co-ordinated air offensive against both strategic and civilian targets in Poland.
The attack on Poland had been in planning for several months, but the German strategy for the invasion had been in development for much longer. Although the German and Polish armies were numerically nearly equal, technologically and tactically they were light years apart.
Throughout the l920s and 30s the Germans had evolved a theory of aggressive warfare, which placed the emphasis on rapid armoured advances supported by air attacks. Against ten armoured German divisions, the Poles could field only one armoured brigade, the bulk of their mobile forces being cavalry divisions. Their artillery also was both antiquated and sparse.
But it was in the air that the Germans had complete supremacy. Most of the two thousand German aircraft deployed over Poland were modern specialist weapons. In the Messerschmitt 109, the Luftwaffe possessed the best fighter aircraft in the world. The twin engined Messerschmitt 110 could be used equally effectively as a fighter or as a bomber. The Junkers 87 or Stuka mounted sirens which made its effectiveness as a divebomber all the greater for its power to confuse and panic the enemy ainst columns of marching troops or refugees, the screaming Stuka was to prove a formidable weapon.
The Polish airforce on the other hand comprised some seven hundred planes, most of which were obsolete, the rest unquestionably inferior to those of the Luftwaffe. Its command and communications structures were woefully inadequate. In the first few days of the attack the Polish airforce was completely wiped out.
The campaign in Poland was a war of movement. No front formed for more than a few hours. The attack had been launched across the Northern, Western and Southern borders of Poland. In the West the German armies knifed through the Polish front in powerfully concentrated spearheads.
From the North and South the German attacks were intended to encircle the Polish forces and prevent them from retreating and regrouping.
Everywhere the Luftwaffe attacked remorselessly disrupting communications and supply lines. Attacking ahead of the army, the tactical bombers of the Luftwaffe performed the role of a highly accurate airborne artillery.

That's how Brent Case describes the hungry, grumpy grizzly bear gnawing on the back of his head. 'He's eating my brain. I can feel it,' recalls Case who pretended to be dead while the bear jumped up and down on him several times, then wandered off. He was left with gashes on his head, arm and knee. Yes, Sring has arrived, lots of hungry bears looking for food. Until the vegetation begins to green, the bears emerging from dens after fasting in hibernation for several months are not very particular about what they snack on. This was one of the first bear attack in B.C. this season and came just days before the province announced $450,000 dollars for bear awareness programs aimed at reducing the number of human-bear conflicts.
A Lycoming County woman suffered bites on her leg, and an injured hand as she tried to save her dog last week.
If you chance upon a bear:
Stay calm. Make noises. Find a route away from the bear.
Face the bear, but avoid direct eye contact. Do not turn and run or climb a tree.
If a bear prepares to attack, stand your ground, wave your arms wildly and shout.
If a bear attacks, fight back. Black bears have been driven away with rocks, sticks, binoculars, car keys and even bare hands.
If you see a bear cub, leave it alone. "During the spring, sows may leave their cubs for several hours, typically up in a tree, while they forage," Ternent said. "The best advice is to leave the area and never retrieve the cubs. Staying in the vicinity only prevents the mother from returning and attempting to care for them."
