Television reporter Angela Vidal and her cameraman are assigned to spend the night shift with a Los Angeles Fire Station. After a routine 911 call takes them to a small apartment building, they find police officers already on the scene in response to blood curdling screams coming from one of the apartment units. They soon learn that a woman living in the building has been infected by something unknown. After a few of the residents are viciously attacked, they try to escape with the news crew in tow, only to find that the CDC has quarantined the building. Phones, internet, televisions and cell phone access have been cut-off, and officials are not relaying information to those locked inside. When the quarantine is finally lifted, the only evidence of what took place is the news crew's videotape.

In Feb. 07 Josh Toal, my daughter Kate and I travelled to Jamaica to visit many of the men who work on the farms in our town ( Niagara on the Lake ) for 6-8 months. We spent 10 days travelling the island trying to visit as many friends and their families as possible. The beauty of the countryside surpassed our expectations and we were often overwhelmed by their hospitality and generosity. These are a few clips from our visit with Phillip Palmer who works on one of the largest peach farms in Niagara. We travelled with Winston Green from Froese farms who also plays guitar on our music team at the CWOP services. His cousin Odean was our "tour guide", he works in Chatham, Ontario 4-5 months of the year.

The season 4 premire begins where the season 3 finale ended. It shows Kris leaving Raintree due to the problems she has caused the Ritters for participating in the illegal match race. It then shows Dani leaving Davis Farms because Junior blamed her for the match race. Matt leaves Raintree looking for Kris and calls Junior to inform him that Kris has run away. Junior then leaves to find Kris and Dani has left, while Kris is walking on the side of the highway to the bus station. Dani, Matt, and Junior are all speeding down the highway for various reasons and all pass a woman on the side of the road with a flat tire. Then, all three slam on breaks and it is unclear who stops to pick up Kris. It is finally revealed that Dani picks up Kris, while Matt had to stop for a cattle crossing and Junior stopped to help the woman with a flat tire. Kris and Dani go speeding off and Dani almost runs into another car but barely misses it, running off the road. It then appears that a small friendship will be forming between Kris and Dani.

Six months later...
Raintree sold all the race horses except for Wildfire, who is with Pablo at Davis Farms. Jean turned Raintree into a Dude Ranch to generate money and shows no signs of becoming a horse farm again. Junior visits Matt and it appears that the two have become good friends again. Junior shows up with Laura Nicholson, who was the woman he helped with her flat tire six months earlier. The two have been dating since then and Junior tells Matt that she's the one. Since Dani gave Junior her shares of Davis Farms, Junior has been running the business with his father and is successful in doing so. Meanwhile, Dani is opening her own Equine Center and is searching for an experienced doctor. Later on, Junior calls Matt to tell him he's thinking about proposing to Laura and wants to know Matt's opinion. Matt says if Junior is sure without a shadow of a doubt that he's in love with her, then he should propose. Junior says he is and decides to propose to Laura. He tells his father, who urges him to propose at a party later during the week and Junior agrees.

Meanwhile, Matt is struggling with his problems at home. He's upset that Raintree has turned into a dude ranch and that his mom has no wishes to turn Raintree back into a horse farm. He's also upset that he hasn't seen or heard from Kris in the last six months. Pablo visits and informs them that Wildfire's racing times have been getting worse over the past weeks and Jean wants to retire him. Uncle Jesse returns to stay with the Ritters. While talking to Matt, he show's Matt a picture of place he visited that Matt would like. The picture turns out to be a picture of Kris. Jesse tells Matt where that the picture was taking somewhere in Colorado. Matt then lies to his mom and sets out to find Kris.

Kris, who has been living Colorado, has been racing illegally to pay her bills. She's been living at a run down motel next to a diner. Matt asks around and finds Kris, who tells him to leave and that she wants nothing to do with him. The next morning, she finds Matt still at the motel and agrees to have breakfast with him. Kris talks to Matt explaining that she can't go back with him because she messed everything up. Matt tells her that Wildfire misses her and needs her because his times are bad and that Jean is thinking of retiring him. He tells her about Raintree becoming a dude ranch and wants her help to turn it back into a horse farm. Kris asks how everyone is doing and he tells her that Junior is love and thinking of proposing to Laura. Kris looks shocked a little sad but quickly shakes it away so Matt doesn't see. Matt later leaves without Kris. Later on, Kris was sitting in the diner and a waitress convinces her to go after her someone special, which happens to be Wildfire.

Junior is at the party his dad has thrown in honor of him and Laura. Junior walks around meeting all of Laura' family. He appears to be quite nervous. He then goes outside to the barn to get some wine and practices his speech to propose to Laura. While practicing, he hears loud noises in the barn and Wildfire's excitement. He goes to see what the problem is and is greeted by Kris. The show then ends and is to be continued until next week.

Friends of Town Farm Dairy in Simsbury, Connecticut, raised funds to purchase seven organic Jersey cows to ensure enough production for town-owned Town Farm Dairy to survive and serve the poor, a condition of the deed from the owner who willed the farm to the town in the late 19th century. Small dairy farms across America are vanishing as land prices escalate and the return on dairy farming goes down. Town Farm Dairy is bucking that trend.
