GTA IV posiada wiele wad:

* najbardziej poroniony system save wszech czasów. Nie dość, że trzeba przez pół miasta jechać do chaty, to zanim zasejwujesz, obejrzysz jeszcze durną animację,
* c.d. sejwów: obojętnie na którym etapie misji jesteś i nieważne jak długo ona trwa - w przypadku śmierci, zaczynasz od samego początku. Głupota roku!
* zrypana kamera. Kto ją wymyślił? Do samego końca gry nie mogłem się nauczyć poprawnego sterowania wozem,
* sterowanie postacią - ze sto razy zginiesz tylko dlatego, że ten anemik za wolno zareaguje albo gdzieś się zaklinuje,
* pomniejsze głupoty w rodzaju: ratujesz ledwo żywego X, odstawiając go o 4 rano do domu, a ten godzinę później do ciebie dzwoni z nowiną: kupiliśmy nowy dom! Wpadnij!
* paradoksalnie - ogromna ilość misji po pewnym czasie zaczyna być irytująca
* edytor filmów - albo jestem za głupi albo nie da się zrobić .avi i można tylko wrzucać filmy na serwery Rockstar. Cmoknijcie mnie w pompkę!
* headshoty z 200 metrów? Żaden problem.
* włączanie gry trwa zwykle jakieś 5 minut...

Najlepsze momenty:

* raz się zawiesiła, a po restarcie komputera nie chciało już mi się grać
* podczas próby lądowania helikopterem zderzyłem się ze startującym samolotem
* biegałem po parku z gejem
* mile wspominam każde spotkanie z Romanem, bo przypomina mi Andrzeja
* przejażdżka z blondynką jej różowiutkim autkiem
* zaliczenie kobiety (dzięki temu mogłem ją wreszcie olać)


Zatrzęsły się niebiosa po gromach, jakie na GTA IV spuścili recenzenci a przede wszystkim gracze krytykujący grę za zabezpieczenia, trudności w instalacji, konieczność łączenia z internetem i posiadania konta na windows live.
Żenujące są te głosy krytyki, bo jakoś po przeżyciu procesu instalacji, nie odnotowałem później absolutnie żadnych problemów z działaniem gry. Więc o co to halo?
Mimo wielu wad, nie można napisać uczciwie, że GTA IV jest złą grą. Owszem - nieco mnie zawiodła, może zbyt wiele po niej oczekiwałem, ale co by nie mówić - warto w nią zagrać, bo to ona właśnie (co jest w sumie smutne) wyznacza nowe standardy w tym gatunku. To ją i Mafia II i Godfather II będą musiały pokonać.
Obawiam się, że nie będzie to łatwe, bo Liberty City to miasto wspaniałe w każdym calu i choć wciąż mam sentyment do mafijnego Lost Heaven, to nigdy wcześniej nie jeździłem po tak realistycznie wyglądających ulicach. Żadna gra nie miała dotąd tak zróżnicowanych i pomysłowych misji, z których wiele wykonuje się z prawdziwą przyjemnością (a choćby akcja w banku...).
Fakt, że osławioną szczegółowość GTA można sobie czasem w buty wsadzić, bo ile to można oglądać ludzi chodzących z tymi samymi kubkami i gazetami oraz gadającymi do słuchawek te same teksty, ale z drugiej strony - czy jest obecnie na rynku lepsza gra tego typu?
Nie ma. I choć mam o niej wybitnie ambiwalentne zdanie, czułbym się jak bezzębny krytyk pisząc, że czas spędzony przy GTA IV, był czasem zmarnowanym.
Nie, nie był.


OCENY Kominka:

Grafika: 1/6 (twórcy sami przyznali, że wyższe rozdzielczości są dla komputerów przyszłości. No to w przyszłości może ocenę zmienię. Obecnie na 90 proc. komputerów gra wygląda fatalnie)

Dźwięk: 4/6 ("cool" muzyka ze stacji radiowych w ogóle nie przypadła mi do gustu, a cała reszta udźwiękowienia jest przeciętnych lotów)

Fabuła: 3/6 (nie wrzuca się dwóch grzybów w barszcz. Autorzy gry wrzucili ich sto. Wyszła im opowieść bez ładu i składu).

Długość: 6/6 (Dobre 35 godzin grania. Ideał).

Klimat: 6/6 (Najlepsza w historii, absolutnie genialna "gra" aktorów, świetne teksty, piękne i pełne "smaczków" miasto. Ideał).

Miód: 3/6 (Zawiodłem się. Wprawdzie GTA IV jest dużo ciekawsze od układania pasjansa, ale grze bardzo daleko do idealnej "Mafii". Tu po prostu grasz i zaliczasz misje. Są niezłe momenty, ale to jak całowanie blondynki. Za tymi pięknymi ustami jest już tylko pustka).

Na koniec tradycyjny film z moim komentarzem, czyli ostatnie 6 minut z życia Kominka w GTA. (gościnnie wystąpił także G. Miecugow)

30-50 most of the time
20-30 drops depending on the time in-game. At night I get more FPS than day. Probably depends on that there are not that many cars and people going around the city at night.

A game with awesome graphics requires awesome PC. Deal with it.
