A contemporary art exhibition that takes up the experience of anguish associated with "Trauma", in juxtaposition with the contrasting overtones of irony, humor and exaggeration which arise from the expression 'Drama Queen'.

'TRAUMA QUEEN' traces despair --be it real or an artifice- in connection to mental or physical pain resulting from loss, deformation, constrain, whether they be internal or external in origin. The aim is to have various kinds of social disability take form through art, as possible manifestations of a pathogenic present condition which can lead to literal disability. All this in immediate relation to the consciousness we construct of our personal disability, despair, fear and insecurity as experienced in everyday life.

Artists from the United Kingdom, USA, Austria, Cyprus, Iran, Ireland, Germany, Korea, Finland and Greece, expose their "traumas" and in the process of organizing the expression of personal negative experience they come to illuminate its reverse side of social prejudice and collective shortcoming as they stand today; most importantly, their creative work contributes perspectives of human resilience in the face of distress.

26 artists from different cultural backgrounds will be exhibiting their work: The variety of artistic media that include sculpture, painting, video, performance, photography and installations, along with the artists' diverse ideological approaches offer a finger-on-the-pulse view of the contemporary scene.

We believe that these works which deal with trauma could reflect the possibility for a dialogue beyond frontiers; a dialogue that pertains to the deciphering of human identities in today's world without overlooking the darker side of pain which also constitutes a universal in human experience.

Ultimately, it seems that artificial boundaries separating personal from collective experience and responsibility need to be undone and renegotiated for any substantial exchange through art.

"Holiday" is the third single by pop singer Madonna, released on September 7, 1983 by Sire Records. It appears on her 1983 debut studio album, Madonna. The single has been released in the UK market three times; in January 1984 (no.6), August 1985 (no.2, only kept off the top spot by her own single "Into the Groove") and June 1991 (no.5) with an EP accompanying the single release, entitled "The Holiday Collection". Sometime during the overnight hours on September 7-8, 2007, a Deranged Moonbat, identity unknown, defaced numerous panels along the entire length of the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington, DC., with some unknown oily substance. This attack happened a week in advance of the Gathering of Eagles III, a patriotic counterpoint to the leftist "peace" riot planned for September 15, 2007.

According to a National Park Service spokesman, the damage appears to be permanent.

The events leading up to September 7, 1996, the tragic day Tupac was shot are as controversial as the shooting itself. It was said that there were some problems between DeathrowÂ's lawyer and SugeÂ's right hand man, David Kenner and Tupac. On August 26th, 12 days before Tupac was shot, he was on the set all day and at the studio all night. On the 27th, he sent Yaasmyn Fula, who managed his business affairs, to the studio to get tapes of what he was done. Deathrow would not allow her access to the tapes as David Kenner, DeathrowÂ's lawyer and SugeÂ's right hand man, denied her the tapes. ItÂ's rumored that Tupac had Yaasmyn write Deathrow a letter saying that Tupac had finished his last album and would be leaving Deathrow. Tupac later went back to LA, and although he wanted to go to Atlanta to visit relatives, Suge convinced Tupac to go to the Tyson/Seldon fight in Las Vegas as he had promised.The Tyson vs. Seldon boxing match was held Saturday, September 7, 1996. Tupac and Suge sat up front and Tupac cheered Tyson on as he had done so many times before. The fight lasted only 109 seconds. While walking through the lobby of the MGM grand after the fight the entourage noticed Orlando Anderson. In a prior incident in a Lakewood Mall, Orlando Anderson stole Travon LaneÂ's Death Row medallion that happened to be a personal give from Suge Knight. Tupac stepped up to Orlando and said "You from the south?" Tupac then punched him in the face knocking him on the ground, after which Suge and the Deathrow entourage proceeded to beat him. Rumors surrounding the shooting have OrlandoÂ's Anderson with Jerry Bonds driving the white Cadillac while Dwayne Keith Davis (Keefee D) was the shooter. An article in Details magazine stated that Orlando and his brother wanted to start a studio, but didnÂ't have the resources. Allegedly after the shooting they came into some money, and the possibility of a pay off for some role in the shooting is possible. Anderson, an alleged crip who claims heÂ's not affiliated, also denied the shooting and stated he was a possible scapegoat. He was shot 2 years later in an incident outside a car wash.


A late-model Cadillac with four men inside pulled up directly to the right of the BMW and sprayed 13 rounds into the car. Police reported that a .45 was shot, but itÂ's believed that information was withheld to identify the real shooter; apparently a .9mm was used. Tupac saw it going down and tried to jump into the back seat. He was hit twice, one bullet hit him his leg and ricocheted up into his lung. Suge was hit in the head with a piece of shrapnel. There were reports that gunfire was returned, but this has been debated and has not been verified completely. The Cadillac turned right onto Koval Lane and vanished. Some cars in the entourage tried to follow the Cadillac but it seemingly disappeared.
