Israelis speaking near the Western Wall in Jerusalem's old city ask U.S. President-Elect Barack Obama to be careful, to work for mankind, and to work for peace.

"I wish him good luck, and I just would tell him that he should be careful. He is young. He hasn't got a lot of experience, and he shouldn't be naive. He shouldn't be naive."

2. MICHAEL GERSHGURIN, JEWISH MAN ORIGINALLY FROM BELARUS, SAYING:
"I know that you are president of the United States, so please do whatever you can. Do the best you can to be a good president; to be good for Jews; to be good for all mankind."

3. RAMI, 54-YEAR-OLD ISRAELI FROM JERUSALEM, SAYING:
"All the people who live here in Israel, we want to live in peace. We've had enough from fighting, and I hope that he will be our bridge for peace."

The techno clubs of Tel Aviv are packed with frenetic clubbers. Nearly everyone here is a soldier. "The weekends are my time to just be a teenager," states IDF soldier Helena Moshe. Officially, no serving soldier uses drugs. But Israeli youths are notorious for their use of party drugs like ecstasy. "Young people have to grow up very fast in Israel," states Dr Tina Berkovits. Everyone is expected to do national service but the horrors they experience in the army are rarely discussed. "They have a bad time after they see what they see," states Berkovits. "They all have post traumatic stress syndrome."
