 Ganesh Chaturthi 05:58Our super wealthy neighbor's parade from Bandra to Chowpatty beach at 11pm Sunday night for their Ganesh immersion. They had 3 floats dressed up with flowers, lights and decorations each with its own generator van to provide power. The first float carried the Ganesh idol and what we assume were close friends and family. The second float carried professional drummers and the third carried a deejay with giant speakers. They also had a convoy of cars and trucks carrying staff, friends, and random street folks. Some were passing out gifts to random people as they drove by. Along with their staff of hundreds, they also had a marching band, pyrotechnics crew, and their own personal police squad to escort the 8 mile trek downtown.
