President Bush on Friday branded the Hamas rocket attacks on Israel an 'act of terror' and outlined his own condition for a cease-fire in Gaza. (Jan. 2)

An Israeli warplane dropped a 2,000-pound bomb on the home of one of Hamas' top five decision-makers Thursday, instantly killing him and 18 others, while the Israeli army said troops massed on the Gaza border were ready for any order to invade. (Jan. 1)

Israel destroys the home of Nizar Rayyan, a senior Hamas figure, killing him and 13 members of his family in the Jabaliya camp in Gaza.

In the most high-level assassination of a Hamas official since Israel's operations began, the direct targeting of Rayyan's house prompts criticism that Israel is violating international law.

There is a freakin' occupation of an entire population. Don't ever forget that. That is the root cause of the problem. These arguments about who started the current issue is a moot point and EXACTLY what the Zionists want you to waste your time arguing about.

The illegal occupation is the cause. Hamas is the direct result. They were created during the intifada. They wouldn't exist if the occupation ceased to exist. Killing more innocent people will not stop Hamas, it will only make them grow.

Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Aboul Gheit harshly censured Hamas today (27 Dec), placing responsibility for the current situation on Hamas. At a noon press conference broadcast on Egyptian television, he said that Egypt had repeatedly cautioned against continuing the situation and that whoever did not listen (Hamas) should assume responsibility and not blame others. He added that Israel had publicly warned that continued rocket fire would lead to military action. Prime Minister Olmert said just two days ago in an Al Arabiya TV interview that if Hamas did not stop the rocket fire, Israel would respond militarily. The Egyptian foreign minister added angrily that right before Foreign Minister Livnis arrival in Egypt on Thursday, 60 rockets were fired, meant to foil Egypts efforts to achieve quiet.

So, Hamas decides it's time to end the cease fire and has begun shelling Israel again.

Now, Israel has been hit with thousands of mortars within the last several days, I am going to tell some people what they don't want to hear and that is that Israel's response is completely justified. You see, It's not enough for Israel to give Hamas and the Palestinians virtually everything they wanted. Israel has been an honest partner in this peace process. The West Bank, The Gaza strip, Jewish Settlers run out of their homes. Yet there are many that believe Israel is the villain. It is my belief, Jewish people have just as much right to be there as so-called Palestinians. This is even without the biblical promise of the Land of Israel. Jewish people have inhabited the region to some degree more or less since before the region was ruled by the Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, Romans, Byzantines, Sassanians and Ottomans. The Jewish people have maintained a presence in the region despite forced expulsions throughout their history and no one will find better stewards of the land of Israel than Jewish people. Despite the fact that Israel is mostly worthless land with very few natural resources, Jewish people have made the land a shining Jewel in a sea of hatred, war and pestilence. Israeli's enjoy the highest standard of living in the Mid-East. Israeli companies have made medical discoveries that have saved lives. Israeli companies have made advancements in computers, among many other things. The rest of the mid-east, on the other hand, is awash in oil wealth, but the failure and corruption of their governments and religious theocracies hasn't changed the fact that the vast majority of Arabs live in a relative shithole. Their governments are creative in brainwashing their people through propaganda and religion and directing the anger of their people at others. Blaming their misery on Jews and the Western World.

Aided by the media, The Palestinians continue to present themselves as an oppressed minority fighting against an occupation. Palestinians will tell Western Journalists that they seek a 2 state solution. Their leaders will tell Western Media in English how they just want peace and at the same time tell their own people that it is time to start killing Jews again. A Hamas representative in the PA legislative council, takes pride in the fact that women and children are used as human shield in fighting Israel. He describes it as part of the "Death Industry" at which they excel, and explains that the Palestinians "desire death" the same way Israelis "desire life".

The following is the full text:

For the Palestinian people death became an industry, at which women excel and so do all people on this land: the elderly excel, the Jihad fighters excel, and the children excel. Accordingly [Palestinians] created a human shield of women, children, the elderly and the Jihad fighters againset the Zionist bombing machine, as they were saying to the Zionist enemy: We desire death as you desire Life.

Fathi Hammad: [The enemies of Allah] do not know that the Palestinian people has developed its [methods] of death and death-seeking. This is why they have formed human shields of the women, the children, the elderly, and the mujahideen, in order to challenge the Zionist bombing machine. It is as if they were saying to the Zionist enemy: "We desire death like you desire life."

Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak invited Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and Hamas leaders to Cairo on Wednesday for separate talks. The meetings were called in an effort to resolve the political crisis caused by the opening of the Gaza border by militants last week. Barriers had been blown up by Hamas in an attempt to provide relief from the blockade and embargo of the Gaza Strip.

After receiving concrete information of plans by Hamas to launch a mega attack inside Israel in an effort to derail the upcoming Washington summit, Palestinian security forces loyal to President Mahmoud Abbas have been conducting hosue to house searched in the West Bank. Meanwhile Iranian President Ahmadinejad will meet tomorrow in Teheran with key terror leaders including Hamas head Khaled Masha'al and Islamic Jihad head Ramadan Shalach, under the pretext of attempting to bridge the Fatah Hamas rift. الدكتور عبد المنعم أبو الفتوح و كان لا يزال طالباً و عضواً في مجلس إتحاد طلاب مصر ( و هو أول كادر اسلامي إخواني يصل لهذا الموقع ) حيث أعد الرئيس السادات لقاء حواري مع إتحاد طلاب مصر و أذيع مباشرة على شاشة التلفاز في عام 1975 و كان المقصود ان يحاور الفكر الناصري متمثلاً فى الأستاذ: حمدين صباحي الذي كان هو الآخر يومها عضو في مجلس اتحاد طلاب مصرو قد رتب لهذا اللقاء ليتمكن الرئيس من تفنيد مساوئ هذا الفكر الإشتراكي تدعيماً للتوجهه الجديد للإقتصاد الحر والسير في ركاب الامريكان و كان نقاشاً مستفيضاً و تفصيلياً. و بعد إنتهاء هذا النقاش بين الرئيس و بين حمدين صباحي قام عبد المنعم أبو الفتوح بعد أن رفع يده و سمح له الرئيس بالحديث قام ليتحدث عن الفساد في وسائل الإعلام و غياب التوجه الإسلامي فيها بل و محاربتها لمبادئه ثم عرج على منع فضيلة الشيخ محمد الغزالى من الخطابة في أحدى مساجد القاهرة الكبرى . و هنا أنفجر السادات غاضباً و مهدداً ( حيث لم يكن مستعداً لمناقشة من هذا النوع مع طالب يحمل الفكر الإسلامي ) فنال من الشيخ الغزالى متهماً إياه بأنه يثير فتنة طائفية و توعد من يفعل ذلك بالعقاب و أستمر عبد المنعم في النقد في شجاعة و حماس الشباب متهماً من يحيطون السادات بأنهم ينافقونه .
هنا صاح السادات قف مكانك.) و رد عبد المنعم بثبات أنا واقف مكاني يا فندم؟) و ازداد غضب السادات وواصل تهديداته و عبد المنعم ثابت لا يتزعزع عن موقفه.
و إنتهى اللقاء و نحن كلنا إعجاب بشجاعة زميلنا أمام رئيس الجمهورية و أنه إستطاع طرح القضية الإسلامية وسط هذا التعتم على هذاالمستوى.
توقع الكثيرون ان يعاقب عبد المنعم أبو الفتوح على موقفه هذا و أشيعت الشائعات عن إختطافه أو إعتقاله و لكنه لم يمس بسوء و هذه حسنة تذكر للرئيس السادات في بداية حكمه. كما مثل الطالب عبد المنعم أبو الفتوح بشجاعته إمتداداً لتاريخ

عضو مكتب إرشاد جماعة الإخوان المسلمين بمصر.
يعد أحد أبرز القيادات الطلابية في جامعات مصر في السبعينات، وشغل منصب رئيس اتحاد طلاب الجامعات المصرية.
كان من القيادات التي نسقت لدخول أعضاء الجماعات الإسلامية في السبعينات للهيكل التنظيمي لجماعة الإخوان المسلمين.
اعتقل في عام 1981م، ضمن اعتقالات سبتمبر الشهيرة، ثم حوكم في أحد قضايا المحاكم العسكرية لجماعة الإخوان المسلمين، حيث سجن عام 1996 لمدة 5 سنوات.
كان يشغل منصب الأمين العام المساعد قبل سجنه، وعقب خروجه، وفي الانتخابات الأخيرة حصل على أصوات الأطباء لمنصب الأمين العام لاتحاد الأطباء العرب.
يبلغ من العمر 52 عاما.
متزوج ورزق بأولاد.
