Qari Imam Bukhari comes from an illustrious family of scholars and Qaris. He graduated from Jamia Ashrafia followed by the College of Shari'ah at the University of Madinah, and the College of Quran & Tajweed at Al-Azhar University in Cairo. Imam Bukhari received ijazah (certification) from Shaykh Syed Hassan al-Bukhari in Hifz (memorisation) of the Qur'an. He received his ijaza in the Qir'aat Sab'ah wa 'asharah (seven and ten recital traditions) according to the method of al-Imam al-Shatibi and the riwayah Hafs in particular, from Imam 'Asim al-Kufi. At Al-Azhar, he received ijazah from Shaykh Mustafa Ismail, one of Egypt's greatest reciters in the 20th Century. He has also received ijazah from Shaykh Raghib Mustafa Ghawoosh in the Hafs and Warsh traditions. Qari Imam Bukhari's love and knowledge of the Qur'an and its recitation has won him several prizes and achievements such as the World Qiraat (recitation) Competition which he won for seven successive years from 1981 to 1987. He has been made an honorary member of the Al-Azhar Selection Committee and judge for various Qiraat competitions across the world. Recently, he was one of the Judges of the National Qira'at Competition on Islam Channel. He has taught Qira'at and Tajweed at the Kuala Lumpur University. He has served as an Imam for a number of mosques in the UK. Predsjednik Uprave Croatia Records Želimir Babogredac istaknuo je važnost dolaska još jedne velike zvijezde u Croatia Records. Rade Šerbedžija se ukratko osvrnuo na svoju dugogodišnju suradnju, ali prije svega prijateljstvo s Miroslavom Tadićem, iz čijeg je neformalnog druženja proizašao ovaj prekrasan album. Na samom albumu nalazi se 13 pjesama koje aranžmanski skoro u cjelosti potpisuje Miroslav Tadić. Kumayl Ibn Ziyad Nakha'i was a confidant amongst the companions of Amir al Muminin, Imam Ali Ibn Abi Talib (as.) and this sublime Du'a was first heard from the beautiful, though anguished, voice of Imam Ali. According to Allama Majlisi (on whom be Allah's Mercy) Kumayl had attended an assembly in the Mosque at Basra which was addressed by Imam Ali in the course of which the night of the 15th of Shaban was mentioned. Imam Ali said-"Whosoever keeps awake in devoutness on this night and recites the Du'a of Prophet Khizr, undoubtedly that person's supplication will be responded to and granted. When the assembly at the Mosque had dispersed, Kumayl called at the house where Imam Ali was staying, and requested him to acquaint him with Prophet Khizr's "Du'a". Imam Ali asked Kumayl to sit down, record and memorise the "Du'a" which Imam Ali dictated to Kumayl. Imam Ali then advised Kumayl to recite this "Du'a" on the eve of (i.e. evening preceding) every Friday, or once a month or at least once in every year so that, added Imam Ali, "Allah may protect thee from the evils of the enemies and the plots contrived by impostors.
