I do this when I want songs from itunes to use in windows movie maker. I have Windows XP. So I don't know if this will apply to Vista and/or other.


Its not just for itunes. You don't have to be making a movie. You can use this method to record any sound from your computer or from the internet. Anything you record will playable in windows media player.

No CD needed. No program to download!

I haven't seen this method in other tutorial vids. Although it could be there ( I haven't watched every single vid about it! ). So I decided to make my own video.


I've actually used this method in 3 of my other videos.

Hope it helps and that everybody enjoys it. Its set to Rihanna's "Don't Stop The Music."


If anyone has ideas to improve this method, feel free to let me know, and I can add an annotation to the video!

BASED ON SOME COMMENTS AND QUESTIONS I'VE BEEN GETTING...... HERE ARE SOME TIPS:

-FIRST OF ALL: BASIC COMPUTER SKILLS IS AN ASSET. THE VIDEO IS ABOUT IMPORTING ITUNES INTO WINDOWS MOVIE MAKER. ITS NOT ABOUT TEACHING BASIC PC SKILLS. YOU SHOULD KNOW HOW TO NAVIGATE YOUR OWN SYSTEM.

-READ THE COMMENTS. THE ANSWER YOU'RE LOOKING FOR COULD BE THERE.

-AUDIO DEVICE AND AUDIO INPUT SOURCE ARE BASED ON YOUR SOUNDCARD.

-MY AUDIO DEVICE IS SOUNDMAX DIGITAL AUDIO AS SHOWN IN THE VIDEO. YOURS MAY BE DIFFERENT. SELECT THE ONE THAT YOU HAVE. IF YOU HAVE MORE THAN ONE OPTION, YOU MAY HAVE MORE THAN ONE SOUNDCARD. WHAT SHOULD YOU DO: TRY THEM ALL!!! EXPERIMENT!!! PLAY WITH IT UNTIL YOU GET ONE THAT WORKS.

-DON'T HAVE WAVE OUT MIX AS SHOWN IN THE VIDEO: HERE'S A THOUGHT.......IT MAY SAY SOMETHING DIFFERENT. SUCH AS: STEREO MIX,DIGITAL MIX,WHAT U HEAR. OR MAYBE EVEN SOMETHING ELSE. WHAT SHOULD YOU DO? : TRY THEM ALL!!! EXPERIMENT!!! PLAY WITH IT UNTIL YOU GET IT TO WORK.

-IF YOU OPEN UP VOLUME CONTROL . CLICK OPTIONS, THEN PROPERTIES. YOU'LL SEE YOUR MIXER DEVICE AKA: AUDIO DEVICE. YOU'LL SEE RECORDING AND PLAYBACK OPTIONS. HERE YOU CAN ENABLE WAVE OUT MIX (OR WHATEVER THE NAME MIGHT BE FOR YOUR SOUNDCARD).

-HOW TO FIND VOLUME CONTROL. ON MY PC THERE ARE 3 WAYS :

(1) CONTROL PANEL / SOUND,SPEECHES,AND AUDIO DEVICES / ADVANCE VOLUME CONTROLS.

(2)ITS ON MY TASK BAR NEXT TO THE TIME.CLICK OR RIGHT CLICK TO OPEN IT UP.

(3)START / ALLPROGRAMS / ACCESSORIES / ENTERTAINMENT / VOLUME CONTROL.

-NO SOUND AFTER FOLLOWING ALL THE STEPS IN THE VIDEO? IT COULD BE THAT YOUR AUDIO LEVEL ISN'T SET. CLICK THE SET AUDIO LEVEL BUTTON TO THE LEFT OF NARRATE TIMELINE BUTTON. YOU'LL SEE A SLIDER SCALE. ONE SIDE WILL SAY AUDIO FROM VIDEO. THE OTHER SIDE WILL SAY AUDIO/MUSIC. MOVE THE SLIDER ALL THE WAY TO AUDIO/MUSIC. CLOSE IT. NOW TRY IT.

-MAKE SURE EVERYTHING IS UP-TO DATE: WINDOWS MOVIE MAKER, DRIVERS, ETC.

MP3-Suchmaschienen kann man die Songs aus der Software heraus abfragen und direkt downloaden. Über ein kostenloses Plug-in ist sogar der einfache Dateitransfer zw. PC und dem IPod möglich. Damit ist klar, dass sich diese Software zum Multimedia-Center auf dem PC entwicklen soll und damit ITunes angreift. Schon alleine um der schwerfälligen IPod-Software zu entkommen lohnt sich der Songbird, der derzeit noch in der Beta-Phase steckt.

They also ask for your address. Don't worry too much about this all they need your address for is to mail you prizes.

After you signup they will send you a confirmation link to your email address you entered. Click the link and you're done. The email should come pretty quick (usually instantly). And make sure you check your spam folders.

Step 2: Complete Offers

Once inside you can check out the prize list.

To earn points click on "Available Offers". There you will see a whole list of offers and how many points you'll get if you complete that offer. When filling out an offer you don't have to give your real home address or phone number. And make sure you use your spam email account because believe me you will be spammed. Also, be sure to check your email occasionally for those offers that require email confirmation otherwise you won't get credited for completing the offer properly.

Here are a few tips for filling out offers:
1. Read the offer carefully so you know exactly what to do to get the points.
2. Delete cookies before every offer
3. Complete offer with realistic information
4. Use a browser that accepts cookies and turn your security down
5. Let each page load completely

Also remember that even though most of the time you'll get the points 5-10 minutes after completing the offer, some may take up to a day or more (depending on the offer). So don't worry if you don't see the points just keep going they will appear if you've done everything correctly.

Step 3: Claim Your Prize
