This interactive Minority Report style installation was deployed for the new Olympus store at Dubai Mall, United Arab Emirates in November 2008 in a multiple unit roll-out. Conceptual partners were MultiSell and Studio Prodigy in Dubai, featuring an 80" contrast rear projection screen with infrared and camera tracking system enabling the user to browse Olympus camera model, library picture and real-time pictures in this digital signage project.

The systems are available from MultiSell for temporary rentals in all Middle East countries including installation, on-site support, creative content and games development along with all peripheral equipments needed such as screens, trusses and projectors. The Projector ANSI Lumens (power) is subject to ambient lighting conditions within the premises. The MultiPoint Series is also available for purchase and comes in a MultiPoint Single Touch version (as per this video) and a MultiPoint Multi-Touch version optimized for multi-users and collaboration. MultiSell has so far deployed more than 300 interactive installations in the Middle East being the first and leading regional out-of-home interactive media provider since 2003.

The car is literally ready for dyno tuning, it has the right turbo setup, it has the right fuel injector setup, all is go, just tuning is required.

As you can see and hear, the engine is over fuelling, thats why the tuning is most important and needy to get the engine running 100%.

The LTX8 ecu was previously used on a 300kw highly modified engine, it had 800cc injectors. Right now the car has Evo 8 560cc injectors, so yeah the ecu needs tuning.

It wont be long before its race ready, just give me a bit more time.

INLET MANIFOLD PLENUM INFO:

In my experience, i have seen and heard a few people doing multipoint conversions on their 1.8 litre engines. The problem with this and from what i have seen is that these people have used wrong type intake manifolds. The main problem was plenum chamber choice. People have used the intake manifold from a single cam lancer which is from a 1.6 litre engine. In relation to plenum chamber size, the optimal size for a plenum chamber should be same volume as a engine or better.

For example: I have a high power 2.0 dash engine, why would i be stupid like other people and fit a pissy small 1.6 litre intake manifold setup, get it.

2 litre engine: 2litre+ plenum chamber size.

The problem is that people undersize their plenum chamber, thats not a good thing.

The plenum/intake manifold i have is from a mitsubishi car and its a 2.4 litre engine, i wont say from what car or model, YOU FIND OUT yourselves.


There is no way on earth would i fit a pissy small 1.6 litre induction system on my MONSTER MULTIPOINT CORDIA, MMC.

Yes, i'm running four EVO 8 560cc injectors.

To those people say that you have to run 8 injectors to have a multipoint cordia, pfffff. NO BRAINS OR SKILLS.

You do the homework and find out yourself.


REMEMBER: I was quoted $3000 from a performanmce workshop to make a multipoint/ecu conversion on my engine.

STUFF THAT, so i did it myself and look at the results, i have done it all bty myuself.

AND NO, i aint gonna explain how i did it, all i can say that if you were to do what i did, expect to spend at least 336 hours or MORE to get this manifold done.

1 more thing: 2 days after i filmed this footage, it was found out that the engine was running on 2 cylinders only.

Cylinder 1 & 2: 150psi
Cylinder 3 & 4: 50psi

The cause was a blown headgasket between cylinders 3 and 4. So get that. The engine sounded like a monster with 2 cylinders, imagine when all 4 are firing. Mu ha ha ha ha

I made this test with a second IR pen.
If you have an old remote control from your TV, you can just take the IR led from it, take a simple button switch (from a old mouse) and wire it with a battery. You can use a pen for the cover.

Whats new with PixelActiveSurface?
PixelActiveSurface makes rear-projection possible with Anoto streaming technology.

The company Livescribe ask the question: what if - a plain sheet of paper became a computer screen? PixelActiveSurface is one way to answer that question.

PixelActiveSurface is not a replacement for FTIR technology and similar multi-touch technologies but a complement. Where FTIR is probably better for zoom and pan operation the PixelActiveSurface should be more efficient in high precision interaction tasks that otherwise would suffer from the "Fat finger" interaction problem.

Freehand gestural interaction with direct-touch computation surfaces has been the focus of significant research activity recently. While many interesting gestural interaction technique have been proposed, their design has been mostly ad-hoc and has not been presented within a constructive design framework. In this paper, we develop and articulate a set of design principles for constructing -- in a systematic and extensible manner -- multi-hand gestures on touch surfaces that can sense multiple points and shapes, and can also accommodate conventional point-based input. To illustrate the generality of these design principles, a set of bimanual continuous gestures that embody these principles are developed and explored within a prototype tabletop publishing application. We carried out a user evaluation to assess the usability of these gestures and use the results and observations to suggest future design guidelines.
