U 8. kolu NLB lige, Partizan je veoma lako i ubedljivo pobedio Zvezdu sa 82:67. Najbolji u Partizanu bili su Peković sa 23, Palasio sa 17 i Veličković sa 12 poena.

Grobari su i ovu utakmicu odlično ispratili i znatno doprineli pobedi košarkaša.

Još jedno lepo veče u beogradskom Pioniru, kako na terenu tako i na tribinama ... Još jedna pobeda Partizana, još jedno dobro izdanje Grobara. U kratkim crtama - to bi najbolje opisalo večerašnja dešavanja u još jednom večitom derbiju. Kada se sve pogleda - ovo zaista počinje da deluje kao nabijanje kompleksa komšijama, koji su i iz prethodnih sezona vukli očajan skor u utakmicama sa nama - što se i ove sezone nastavlja.

Grobari su priredili još jednom sjajnu atmosferu, tako da rezultat nije ni u jednom trenutku dolazio u pitanje ... Sinergija igrač - navijač je bila na nivou, i sve je išlo kako treba. Jug i istok dupke puni, dok iza kordona policije komšija nije bilo u organizovanom obliku, tako da direktnog takmičenja na tribini nije bilo, ali smo okrenuti sebi (uz par neizežnih izleta na prozivanje komšija), odradili zaista dobro utakmicu ... Posebno je dobar bio prelaz iz treće u poslednju četvrtinu ... I na kraju ovacije igračima, Duletu (Duleta u Hag - koliko masakrira cigane), i klubu koji i ove godine nastavlja da gazi sve redom.

Sama utakmica je prošla skroz u znaku Partizana, i odlične igre svih (Peković ponovo prednjačio sa 23 poena), uz maksimalno deljenje minutaže i čuvanje za susret sa Panatinaikosom sledeće nedelje u trećem kolu Evrolige. Kraj utakmice su odigrali i mlađi - tako da je razlika od oko 20 poena na kraju svedena na 15.

I had been avoiding this hunt for a long time. It's not Roblon that's the issue - much like Bloodwing, it's his company that causes problems.

Nabreus Dead Bones are tough enough for an NLB party individually, but to add near-endless respawning of them in a small area drops the chances of long term survival in this fight virtually to nil.

My thanks to KaddyGamer, who showed me that standing the platform behind Roblon won't respawn the undead. That leaves only 6 Dead Bones to deal with.

Putting up Reflect pretty much nullifies Roblon. He heals himself when he casts Fira, but I can live with that - staying alive and killing off the Dead Bones is top priority.

After all 6 Dead Bones are eliminated, it's just my 4 characters vs. Roblon, who's actually pretty weak, just with a lot of HP.

Roblon's weak vs. water, so it's Balthier w/ aqua shot, Ashe with Water Motes, and Basch and Reddas under Berserk.

Having Reddas helps tremendously, of course - he's whacking Roblon for about as much as the rest of the party put together.

After just unsuccessful attempt, I would think about 10 minutes before trying again. I got him on my 4th try. It's not something that I would normally think of. Yet it worked since the main concern wasn't the Esper, the minions was. After that, Chaos was to be focused on.

Note: Don't send in anyone with Berserk on. They won't attack.

Wooot Level 60, 20 Levels to go, i though of taking a break from killing Dustias and Collect Some Aero Motes.

Its so early that i haven't talked to Old Dalan for the first time yet and look my stats and Inventory ^_^ .

While trying to collect holy motes i encountered the skelton rare and i killed it by Phoenix Downs.
In 32 times of encounter the monster dopped 6 Heavy Lance :) .
But can't eqiup them in NLB of course but it will be a good file to do new power game later after NLB :)

This clip covers how I get my Aero, Reflectga, and Scathe Motes - How I get my Holy, Balance, Hastega, and Water Motes is covered in the NLB Training Loop video.

That only leaves Vanishga and Float Motes (Warp Motes are dropped by panthers in Golmore, and can be purchased after completing 24 hunts). I haven't really gone farming for those two (yet), so I couldn't say where the best spot for them is (yet).

I fought Dr. Cid once before this, using physical attacks to take down the rooks, but then the s.o.b. put up a paling, and I just wasn't patient enough to deal with that. Ultimately, I was dissatisfied with the amount of Holy / Scathe Motes I used in the fight, so I decided to try it again.

This time I blitzed him.

I picked up some 60-odd Balance Motes from a lower level of Draklor earlier, so I set up all three men (they have higher hp totals) with the same two gambits:

Ally: Any - Phoenix Down
Foe: Any - Balance Mote

The opening volley was spectacular.

Yes, this was extremely wasteful of me - but I'll pick up the Balance Motes I used in this fight when I go to restock on Holy Motes anyway, so why not? It made for a quick fight - and yes, that means I've included full cutscenes for Dr. Cid before and after the 2 minute fight. Cutscenes (in my opinion, at least) are what makes a boss a boss in FFXII - otherwise he's just a particularly weak and somewhat strange mark.

Carrot was my first Game Over since the beginning of the game (I got a few while learning how to level off of Dustia).

Afterward, I went back and tried a tanking strategy - it was working pretty well, too - until Carrot used Growing Threat and started one-shotting my tanks.

Holy Motes proved invaluable here - most of the damage done in this fight came from Ashe, who was hitting Carrot for 4-5k a pop.

Vaan and Basch alternated as meat shields for my ranged attackers, at least until Vaan got himself afflicted with Disease. I don't have access to Vaccines at this point in the game, so once Disease hits a character, they're pretty much done for.

After the stoning of Vaan, the goal was just to keep Carrot away from Ashe. I did a pretty good job of that, too - until the end, at least. One of the more challenging fights in this game so far.

Part 1 :-

NLB Stands for NO Licenses Board.
I may not touch the licenses board besides the forced ones.
I MUST HAVE BELIAS TO OPEN THE GATE AT FEYWOOD TO GET TO GIRUVEGAN.

Collecting the motes is a must.

I know the crystalbug in the Nabreus Deadlands isn't technically a boss or a mark, but it represents one of the greatest challenges I've experienced so far in this game.

I tried fighting the crystalbug normally twice, but was forced to withdraw both times - the thing is just too lethal without any real Magic Defense, and my characters had no real ability to hurt it - at least not any faster than it could restore itself.

So I decided to wait it out:

The Nabreus Crystalbug has 0 CT spellcasting, half MP cost, and 999 MP. It uses third tier elemental black magic and darkra - castings costs of 21 and 15, respectively (counting the half MP cost). All I had to do was stall until it ran out of MP.

I encoded this video at double speed, because I wanted to show the entire process, but I didn't want to force viewers to watch this for 15 minutes - it's pretty monotonous.

This video shows how *anyone* can beat a crystalbug - even a Low Level party with minimal equipment - I only used 47 phoenix downs.

Orthros in NLB.

This battle went smoother than I expected. He generally uses a lot physical attacks, so Blind was a must. To deal with his magical attacks, Reflectaga Mote was used.

Inflicting Blind on him also lowered the chances that he will connect with his other attacks. Therefor, little to no healing.

Near the end, I didn't want to waste another Reflectaga Mote, so I let my X-Potion take care of it.

Croakadile is barely worth mentioning, except to say I've never seen these characters do so much damage per hit. The malboro overkings in Garamsythe take more effort.

Gil Snapper was pretty much what I expected - being able to silence him was a bonus, and the clan ally really helped out with immobilize - it seems when he's immobilized and silenced, the Gil Snapper won't do anything but sit there and take damage. I guess his attacks are based on his movement?

It probably would have made more sense to berserk Balthier w/ silent shot than to use Penelo and Ashe, it's just that I'm used to not using Balthier for anything - although I'm sure there will come a time soon where he'll do more damage than the other characters.

After checking Enkelados' stats, I felt pretty confident about running with two berserkers - seems it was the right call to make. He went down pretty fast, almost as easily as Croakadile.

Marilith marks a departure from the earlier hunts, and caught me completely off guard: this video is an example of What _Not_ To Do.

What I Should Have Done: Berserk Basch and Vossler from the start, kept Fran and Ashe out as dedicated healers, and thrown out a Hastega mote for the whole party. Then if (when) Vossler or Basch died, I could have relied more readily on Balance and Balance motes.

What I Did Do: The same thing I did for every previous mark and boss so far in this challenge; charge in blindly and attack mindlessly.

The constant curing of Vossler alerted me to the flaw in my (lack of) planning, but he was dead before I knew it, and Marilith was chowing down on my near-defenseless characters (this is the first fight so far where I've keenly felt the lack of good armor).

What happened then was mostly panic. I got through o.k., but it got a little tight near the end, mostly because I made poor choices.

This could have gone much more smoothly, but at least I learned something :)
