Today I will show you how to bypass the download
limit of rapidshare or megaupload.
Im sure there are other filehosting websites
that have limits on their downloads.
TO make this video just short of a few minutes
I like to write everything out so we dont have
to see me misspell certain words or commands.
And I did not take this from anyone for I had
spent my time writing out this tutorial.

To bypass, you will need the following:
You need to know how to use command prompt
(like basic operations such as cd - change
directory or mkdir - make directory...pretty
simple ehh?)



You need to change the name of your LAN or
wireless to something short like "Local" or
"Wireless" instead of "Local Area Network" and
"Wirless Network"...It just speeds up our time
I hope.. =P




You need to get a program called "Macshift"
made by Nathan True.
What it does is basically change the digits of
the last number of your ip address to a random
generized number.

Okay..Lets crack our knuckles and get started!!

As you can see for this tutorial, I can reached
my downloadable limit for today or some hours.

So let me prove to you that it is blocking me
from accessing the download.

Alright...Let's get macshift. Go to this link
http://devices.natetrue.com/macshift/
And click download. Save it to somewhere where
you can find it later by command prompt.

Extract the files to a folder somewhere; I
prefer the desktop. Go to you desktop and open
the folder where you have extracted the files
and at the top is where you will be able to see
the whole directory.

Open up Network Connections and change the
name of you LAN or wireless to "Local" or
"Wireless" by right clicking the icon and
select "rename"

Lets open up command prompt
In order to do this, go to Start and Run and
type "cmd" without the quotes and press Enter.

I know my directory could be different from
yours'. Some people have their cmd set to C:\
while others have default directory
C:\Documents and Settings\Name (mine is Java)

If you have C:\ then you need to change the
directory to your desktop I hope is where you
saved the files.

do
"cd C:\documents and settings\"your name"\desktop\"the name of your folder"\"
w/o the outer quotes.

If you have the default directory then just do
"cd desktop\"the name of your folder"\" w/o the outer quotes.

Now we are in the folder and lets use macshift

If you are using LAN,

type "macshift -i "Local" -r" w/o the outer
quotes.

If you are using Wireless,

type "macshift -i "Wireless" -r" w/o the outer
quotes.

And press enter. Wait for the adapter to reset.

You connection should now be connected and
receiving packets from the network.


Let us now check if it says the same thing.


And it is now counting down....and the download
icon should be......there in a sec..

And there you have it folks...you just masked
your ip address and bypassing the limit.

oh yes One more thing....

If you ever want to change back to your
original ip address, do the following.

go to your macshift directory in cmd

and type "macshift -i "Local" -d" for LAN
or "macshift -i "Wireless" -d" for Wireless.
